The (Puma concolor) Captured on Camera-trap

9th May 2019

Here with Untamed Photography, Mark Fernley and Jaime Thomas get a stunning male Puma (Puma concolor) that walks over the stream on a tree fall. The camera trap was installed by untamed photography at the las Piedras Amazon Center placed near a large stream. Wildlife photographer Mark Fernley found a sturdy log that was a good sign for a cats to cross over. Mark then got onto the log and inspected the log and found cat scrap markings on the log. This was a good indicator for camera trapping this hopefully active log. The camera trap was then placed on one side and facing down the tree fall. The camera trap was left for several months.

Photographer Mark then returned to the site and collected the camera trapĀ  three months down the line. Untamed photography captured a stunning male Puma (Puma concolor) that walks very elegantly down the log. Here we have a screen shot off the video.
