This picture is showing the Amazon Tree Boas facial features and the tiniest details that can’t be seen in a normal picture and can only be seen in close proximity. Mark can be seen holding the snake in the necking manoeuvre allowing us to observe the rows of long teeth whilst explaining how their teeth are adapted to sink into the feathers of birds and rats. The heat pits can also be observed above and below the nostrils as Boas are a type of snake that uses heat to locate a food source as the prey is giving off heat.
